Reflections of an artist - burn out

Why was it closed in the first place? 

Something I never do because I always have this by me, I am normally lost without it. 

Honestly? I was burnt out. I didn't just close this book I slammed it closed. After a holiday season where I painted close to 20 pieces in one month and then hit the road for my first Trade Show. I came home exhausted.

Now, does this make me ungrateful for my holiday sales, unprofessional, a bad artist?

NO, say it again, NO, come on, do you see that Internet caps? You better be yelling it!

Everyone gets burned out. Don't be hard on yourself because this will lead to depression and loathing what you use to once love. I was still getting orders done during this time. But I also reset, made sure I was exercising and eating right.

And now, I'm ready and re-motivated to tackle the world... One little green monster at a time!
